New date-editor widget
A new free widget-library was released just a few weeks ago, and much to my happiness, a date-editor widget was among its offerings. I immediately knew that Sagittarius have to have it. The old one, what was tied together from GTK widgets was too big, and unflexible. And just a few days ago, Tobias mentioned in his comment that it has limited capabilities (what i alread knew, but thought nobody cares such a little flaw).

The bad news is that it can not (yet) handle time zones, for that i had to put a second widget there.
And sharp eyes can see, that behind the date-editor, there is a multi-line text-field for the IPTC-scene field. In 0.2.4, there will be numerous multiline text-fields, again thanks to Tobias, who mentioned them. Coding their behaviour will take a few days, but not more i hope. The bad news in this case is that the multi-line text boxes look out differently than the single line entry-widgets, and this will result in a visual inconsistency. In other words: it looks ugly.
But, there is hope, because Daniel, the author of Holly-widgets (the library the new date-editor is taken from), want to write a grid-component that may be suitable to edit and display metadata in it. If it happens, then there wont be no more entry-widgets, and textview-widgets and label-widgets, just a datagrid (maybe with some expanders), with field names, and values to enter, or to select from a comb-box, or whatever.
By the way, the lack of such a grid-widget is the reason behind the late on EXIF-support. There are simply too many Exif fields. Even if i group them to five-six main groups with a notebook-widget, there still are groups that contain about 20 fields. If i divide them with expanders, they, well look very-very ugly. Maybe i will post a screenshot on them in a few day, but to tell you the truth i'm even thinking on postponing the EXIF support to a later release.
